Where are the codes?

This cute little cat was playing Dig Doug and after getting to level 15 he was expecting something awesome by way of a wizard101 code.  What he got was a message that says they're working on updating codes and he can play for free in the mean time.  Anyway, for his sake I hope the codes come back soon.  I have two words: "Wyvern packs"  One can hope right?

Where are the wallflowers in Wysteria?

The other day I was questing with my sister Sierra and she went on a mission to find all of the wallflowers.  Little did I know she would find them all within about 20 minutes!  (That's got to be a record!) 
Anyway, I followed her to the wallflowers so I could document their position.  Here are the locations of the wallflowers...

Getting stuck on your Wintertusk school spell quest?

Some people have had trouble picking up the Wintertusk second school spell quest.  When I myself got stuck on my death wiz I googled it and found the answer on this helpful blog: http://ambrose2zeke.blogspot.com/2011/04/wintertusk-brings-avalanche-of-updates.html

Ultimately the answer was to go to the fuzzy bear dude (Baldur Goldenpaws) in Old Towne  a lot of running around, a boat load of storm/fire shields, and and baba-bing-bada-BOOM - a 16,000 tough critical scare-crow later I had my spell!

Housing Contest Winners

The house-a-palooza winners have received their email confirmations with a code.  Check your email to see if you won.  For those of you who entered I'd like to respond to you all and thank you for your wonderful ideas and for the time and effort you took to enter the contest.  I wish I had a million codes to give out.

For those who may be missing out I hear that the Panther code works for a 15 day panther mount!  Log into the Wizard101 site and enter the word Panther into the redeem codes link.  Give it a try and let me know when or if it goes inactive.

Housing Contest is Officially Closed

Blog ideas

Wow!  The blog ideas are coming fast and furious on the house-a-palooza contest.  Needless to say there's a lot of work to be done and with your excellent ideas we'll be ramping up our content to fill in some of the blanks.

I'll try to respond as much as possible to the fantastic ideas that are coming!  If you want to email me details to post about awesome crafting or other content I'm open to posting it to your personal credit.

I'll also be looking at putting up a forum or open chat where people can debate open questions.  I may try it for a while but I don't want to recreate central.  I'll also work on a list of sites that I recommend for various aspects of Wizarding.

The Scoop ...

Well ,well ,well. It's been for ever since I have posted here but I do hope to finally post more scoops and interesting things I find in the spiral.  The test realm is open with the awesome world Wysteria as well as some other updates to the game that can be found in the update notes.
Wysteria is home to Pigswick academy which as Vale said, is pretty opposite to us.  I am almost through Pegasus place (Died on last boss there. I was using a polymorph and he killed me with a bloodbat XD).

But I've noticed some things...
First, The name of the academy: Pigswick. The name of our academy: Ravenwood. Anyone see a connection to Harry Potter? Griffindor? Slytherin? Anyways, For the real scoop!
Here it is. The main point of the scoop. Dun dun dun!
When your almost to Pegasus Place Miss Dowager sends you to your dorm. One of the students there is a cat- ( sorry about the name I think it's Nalia Dunestrider but I don't remember.)  She's dress in what I imagine is persian clothing (Yes. purrsian. I know har de har har.) She's also using a scimitar. When you talk to her she says she's from a world called Mirage here's a quote:

"I'm not surprised you haven't heard of my world, Mirage is a small oasis in a desert of mystery."
Now this could just be random, but with sultans palace and the fact she goes in depth a bit about her world makes me bet any money Mirage will be the next world.
There's your scoop I hope I have another soon! I think the next world will be Mirage - a cat world with a Persian flavor!

Cody Skyrider (Scoop Writer) is working on a mega scoop.  Stay tuned here for more detail.  And while you're waiting go check out the test realm and the new magic schools in Pigswick academy.  Who ever knew we had a rival school!!!  This is quite a surprise and boy has Ambrose been holding out on us!

Even though the magic schools here are kind of upside down they are very interesting with some unique teachers with strange takes on our magic schools. I wonder if they'll eventually fork over the cool spells? I'll scour the spiral until I find more!

It only took a few minutes of looking around before I was convinced that this new school isn't so bad.  How can I get a transfer?

Load up test realm! Ravenwood School has a new rival

If Griffendor has Slitheren why shouldn't Ravenwood have Pigswick?  We all need a good rival right?

Goblins and have invaded a new area thanks to careless magic students!  You'll need at least mid level wizarding skills to get along in the new world Wysteria.  I admit after hearing the new area name I just had to wonder if there are desperate moms suffering from the bad-guys run amuck?  Hopefully there's something we can do to save the residents from their new bad neighbors!

Merle Ambrose has a new quest for you!  Seems that Pigswick really makes us look bad in the tourney!

 Our rival school's teacher is welcoming enough, but I'm not sure we're going to see a lot of humans at this school.

 The pigs are pretty busy at Pigswick!

 Some challenges await immediately in case you want to get into the action quickly.

 There's the tournament cup I'm so gonna win!!!  Step aside Harry, you're so last month!
