More Open Chat Option For Wizards 18+ Years Old

To get slightly more open chat ability there is an option available in parental controls that can allow you to talk with slightly more freedom.

The setting in the parental controls area looks like this when it's enabled.

The downside to this option is that there are a lot of restrictions on it:
1) The user must be 18 or older
2) The user must have a subscription
3) The user must have a credit card on the account (and possibly be the sole account owner)
4) The user must have used the credit card on file to make a purchase through the wizard site

Sadly, it does not seem to apply to Crown players, even with a Credit Card on file.

Thanks, I was wondering when this option would be available.

I have some friends for whom this is working. Mind you I've only been able to verify it working in the test realm. I have to admit after enabling this option I'm still filtered on numbers and general talking. Sooo. I'm going to experiment with the settings a bit more. So if next time you see me online and I'm a no-talker you'll know I messed something up :)

Why do you need to have a credit card on file? Are they gonna charge you.
Thanks

I hope you can help me. I'm lvl 100 but my spells hit like i'm lvl 10. One player said she was 'jade' & that's why she could hit for such high numbers. Could someone help me understand what she was talking about? Thx

Rowan, here's the deal. There is no such thing as 'jade' or whatever they're talking about. BUT what there is gear. You'll want to make sure you look up and try to win the best gear. You can craft gear cloths etc for your wizard. Crafted gear is usually a little better for hitting hard. You will also notice that people that hit hard probably have a mixture of gear some from card bundles and some from crafting and some from drops.

But there are a couple other tips for hitting hard. You'll want to get your tough and critical and shield break rate up by picking good gear because that helps a ton as well.

Another tip is making sure you either learn the tough plus spells to add extra strength to your hits or buy Gargantuan treasure cards from the librarian in Celestia. Those cards when applied to your regular spells make them hit much harder.

And last but not least, don't forget to sharpen your blades. For those that don't know how to do this there is a spell called sharpen that ads 10% to your blade usually. It will make a 40% blade 50%. The cool thing about this is that you can now sharpen one (say 50%) and then add a regular 40% blade so now you have a 90% total increase in power. Add a sharpened balance tri-blade for 45% and a regular un-sharpened tri-blade and now you've got 170% more power on your spell. Add the gargantuan to boost your spells base hit by 200. Then whatever bubble, traps etc you might have all multiply on top of that!

I know how you feel though. I have a buddy that's taken the time to find the best gear for ice with a combination of hard work and a bit of luck. Now he's the Uber-Ice when it comes to hitting.

So, I hope that one of these things will be useful to you.
